Carlie's Hair

So, we had been anticipating a hair cut for Carlie. I actually kept putting it off, because I had this great fear that it wouldn't curl up again. I figured I better start taking some pictures. Not only her curls, but she has some amazing highlights that I (and hundreds of others) would die for! And pictures just don't do justice! Am I bragging too much?! But really, this blog is for me and our family down the road, so I'm allowed to brag, right? So I'll brag a little.
Anyway, this girl has got some gorgeous hair and she finally got her first (much needed) haircut at over 3!!

Nothin' like a little girl swingin' and gigglin'!!
There's a morning shot if I've ever seen one! But....she's happy!

Another morning shot....not so happy!

This was the morning of her hair-cut. I was trying to get a good shot of her length and curls, not that great of a picture though.
Hair-cut Time!!!

She had so much fun doing that!!

Sidnee did her hair up so cute, and we got to meet up with Dad for lunch!!

Yes, her hair is SO gorgeous. I still remember babysitting her once when you were in a hurry so I did her hair and it was still just short (though still with its cute curls). I keep thinking she's that same girl so when I see her with ALL that long gorgeous hair I think, "What? HOw on earth did she get so old!!"

Oh, and one more thing. Yesterday Goldie was doing "ring around the rosies" with Penny and for some reason she started saying, "ring around the Ashton."

P.S. Oh, funny thing. Don't ask me why but you guys were in my dream last night. I think we were in Preston. Only we were trying to kill a bunch of rats and plant some flowers. Ummm, how's that for bizzarre dream?

Oh! It's so bittersweet. Haircuts mean they're growing up. It makes me sad for cutting Noelle's hair someday. Hmmm, maybe when she's 18!
