Baseball Season to a close

Baseball season wrapped up the first part of June. It was really a fun season and I loved watching the boys play. They improved so much, I'm really proud of them!! It's kind-of nice to have my husband back though. Our schedule was pretty crazy! Here's a few last shots of our baseball year.

That's Ben sending him home. The last at bat Ashton got to be last batter so he could hit a home-run!! You can see by the smile on his face the joy this brought him. His coaches were so good to him (no, it wasn't Ben. He just helped out base-coaching at the games.)
He also got to be catcher which he also loved! He took it quite seriously, ready to throw off the helmet.
There he is with Coach Mike and Super Coach Abe at the pizza party. It was almost kind-of a sad good-bye. Ashton will probably stick with Ridgefield Little League from here on out. Oh, well. It's a small world, right?

A few shots of Clayton's last game.
And for some reason I didn't get a picture of the trophy out of the box.
