A new leaf......
So I've decided to try a new hobby. Quilting. Or maybe I should just call it sewing. I've decided to make Averie aquilt. I know the basics, I can get by a little. But, I decided to take on my Mom's other sewing machine and sharpen my skills. I better not kid myself, I can barely get the 'projects' around my house done, but we'll see how it goes!! When I was at Craft Warehouse buying my fabric, this sweet lady looked at my children (I only had 3 of them w/ me) and said, "How are you ever going to have time to make a quilt?" Yea. Good question!! We'll see how this project goes!! I have to say, I'm pretty excited!! Thanks to some inspiration from some friends, Enrichment, and a life-long push from my mom. I'll keep you posted!

Im impressed with your ambition. I made a quilt for Emorie before she was born and another for Christmas. Both took WAY longer than they should have but I was impressed with myself when they were done. Good luck and if you learn any tips....pass them on!
Cute fabrics. I have been wanting to sew Sam a comforter for months now. I even made it a Personal Progress project goal (I'm in YW again) and I haven't even gotten to the fabric store yet. It's never gonna get done. Good luck to you. Maybe we should have a race.
