Summer of 2009

Aaahhh! Summer Days, I just love them!!! Since I've been such a slacker this summer on blogging, I just compiled it into a post. They aren't all in the right order, but most of our highlights are there!!

We spent lots of time outside this summer, we really do have nice summers up here!!

We were so fortunate to get this swing set from our Aunt and Uncle who moved away (actually moved a couple years ago). The kids love it, we love it!!! (This was actually Ben's project while we were on our little trip to ID. He had it all ready for them when we got home!)

Picking Blackberries!! YUM!!

The boys having a race after we got done picking b-berries!

Carlie got a little tired!! She really fell asleep like that!!

A trip to the zoo!

Clayton got to go with Ben one Sat. morning up to the mountain so scope out the Elk. A little father-son bonding time.

Whoa!! That's a little scary! (For Mom)

This was a sad day! We tried getting our piano tuned a few months ago so I could start Clayton in piano lessons. Well, turns out the piano was no good. It had a crack in the sound-board and some other major problem, that honestly, I don't know what it means, but apparently it's pretty major in making the piano play. Along with some broken keys. So bottom line was, the piano was no good, couldn't be tuned or fixed. This is the day it finally got hauled off. I took pics. of the kids with it. I was so sad to see it go, it was such a beautiful old lookin thing.

The boys took a session of swim lessons. They loved it and really improved!!

Ashton is on the right.
Clayton
This is when she first pulled herself up!

Ave eating a waffle in her new hi-chair!! Wow! She got big!

Beatin' the heat!!! I just love this! The kids play out here all day and have so much fun!!

They stick the hose on and make it a water slide!

Carlie goes flyin' off the end and comes up giggling everytime

I miss WA Summers! It seriously just feels too hot to even play outside most of the time here. And looking at that trail where you guys were picking blackberries made me homesick!
